A published page on a directory with a working link to your product, which we have opened and checked. The only thing your plan's target counts.
Target
The number of live listings your plan promises: 100 on Foundation, 300 on Authority. We keep working until it is met.
Places
The directories you choose before Start. Your plan has as many places as its target.
Backups
Extra directories kept ready at Start, which take the place of a directory that refuses.
Directory database
The directories we have checked and can list on. The gap analysis and the directory picker both draw from it.
DR
Domain rating, from DataForSEO: its 0 to 1000 rank for a domain, divided by ten, so it reads 0 to 100. Other SEO tools measure their own ratings, and the numbers differ.
Dofollow, or followed link
A link search engines follow, which passes authority to your site.
Nofollow
A link marked for search engines not to follow. It still brings visitors, and the listing still counts.
Not verified, Not measured
We have not confirmed the link type or the DR yet. It is not a claim either way.
Badge
A small image or link a directory asks you to show on your site before it publishes your listing.
Badge Sync
One piece of code on your site that carries the badge of every directory in your campaign that asks for one, and updates by itself.
Publishing method
How a directory publishes: Live on submit, Badge check then review, Reviewed by a person, or Launch day.
Indexed
The indexing service confirmed the listing page is in the search engine's index.
Index credit
One request to send one live listing to a third-party indexing service. $0.25 each, in top-ups from $5. It comes back if the page is not indexed within 14 days.
Swapped, Replaced, Not listed
A directory that will not list your product for a known reason. Another directory takes its place and your target does not change.
Gap analysis
A comparison of the directories that link to you and to your competitors.
Merchant of record
Dodo Payments, which takes your payment and issues the tax receipt.
